not sure if that means - in the fall we will hear something. If it’s like last year it will be before Winter NAMM to steal some thunder from the competitors.
Craze seemed to think it was the future of DJ’ing. I guarantee that was a controlled leak via twitter. My money is on new X1 and a pretty big update to Traktor.
Maybe Some hybrid between the X1 and a deck of the S4. If they do release a mixer only controller, my guess is it should be scratch certified to keep up with the s4 and keep dvs people happy.
Just got an email from NI saying there bundling x1 with a free copy of TP2 so my money is on a replacement for the x1 as it looks like there trying to get rid of stock.
Possibly something more sample deck orientated?
I hope that its a controller that is built like a rock, doesn’t mess with jogs but expects ppl to add turntables or cdjs
Because that is what I am looking for, smaller controller but one that Im not nervous about bringing out. It can serve as a mixer with transport controls.
Also a mixer that does not need a laptop and can be standalone.
idk if NI is capable of that.
not much experience in the analog world
they need to step up their quality in the midi world in order for people to consider an analog mixer from them.. I guess they could hype it like the S4.
BUT.. if they drop a 4 channel analog mixer you would have to imagine it being more expensive than the S4 (if not I really fear for its quality)
BUT in that price range you have Xone 42s, x1600s, Ecler NUO 4s, used pioneers.
The only reason NI stands a chance is because they can afford to give away TSP2 free with their gear.. w/o that they are out of the picture
It should be something pretty good considering any time NI gives out big offers like this, it means something special is coming out soon. Now we wait for another cryptic video and even more speculation.
