Need some guidance with Traktor / Z2 mapping (4 channels, 2 turntables)

I’m just starting the process of getting lost in the endless possibilities of Traktor Scratch Pro 2 mapping with the Z2 mixer. I have two tt’s connected to the z2, which I use to control decks A/C and B/D through a few simple modifications here:

..although I’m running into a problem. My shift no longer works with the loop knob to scrub through tracks. Also, I’d like to get the C and D buttons on the Z2 to reassign mixer controls gain, eqs, filter, fx1/2, and loop and scrub functions to deck C and D.
So far, the closest I’ve come is this submission from Michel Wenz: DJ TechTools - Michal Wenz 4 Decks on Z2! Ultimate Template Mapping , but his doesn’t take vinyl control for C and D into consideration, and he remaps the cue buttons which I do not want. I want to keep all other buttons beside the deck letters above the numbered cue buttons in stock configuration.
Basically, I want button C to switch vinyl control from A to C (leaving A in int mode), and also re-assign the mixer functions to deck C [gain, eq, filter, fx1/2, loop and shift+loop (scrub)]. Then when I press A, vinyl control switches back to A, and mixer controls are re-assigned to A. Same for B/D.
Should I try to take apart Michel’s tsi and make a frankenstein with the first modifications mentioned?
Or could there be an easier way to do this that I haven’t figured out yet?
Hopefully I’m not the first person who wanted to do this.
