Traktor Kontrol Z2 - switch timecode vinyl between decks A/B to C/D and back

Using my Traktor Z2 mixer, I want to be able to mix my decks A and B as normal, but would love to set a map to be able to switch the vinyl control to decks C/D (but the audio routing still remain as the factory setting has it) so I can control additional decks by hand or my remix decks by hand.

any workflow suggestions on how I should tackle this mapping idea?

I tried this a while ago and found it to be really buggy. I can’t remember why.

I think I had two entries mapping the same button to int / rel/ abs. I used direct interaction mode to directly map one to relative and one to internal. and inverted one of them. I had problems when switching back from C back to A. I think what i did did was use a condition of if it was playing going to relative mode.

This is off the top of my head. Its been awhile since i tried and I tried when I first got my z2. I know it can be done but you have to do it so you don’t accidentally go into absolute mode when in relative mode or internal because it might jump to the beginning of the track or wherever the needle is. I will try later on when I have it in front of me.
