new avatar doesnt show up.

hey guys,

i just changed my avatar, but the new one doesn’t show up (neither in old nor in new posts). still the old one.
in the user cp there’s the new picture. i deleted cookies and cache, still the same.. :eek:

hmm odd. changed mine yesterday and it worked ok.
was the file small enuff?

i had no error messages. it seems to have uploaded correctly, cause it’s shown in my user cp

That is strange. Try saving it under the parameters in mine and see what happens.

Upload it to flickr or something and try using the web option.

with this option i get the following error message. that’s why i uploaded it from my mac in the first place

The image you sent me was 600ppi, I dropped it to 150. usually 72 is all you need for web, but some monitors can take advantage of higher resolutions.

thanks for that.. i saw that it worked for you, but i cannot get it to work, even deleted my avatar completely, the old one stays. reuploaded your version. no change..

I’m just grasping at straws here, but maybe try to delete it and log out and then log back in. If that fails I would contact BentoSan.

Are you sure you didn’t change your profile picture instead of your avatar by mistake?
