Just read about the bag on Native Instruments home page… On my phone at the moment so cant copy a direct link, however will do this and post details as soon as i’m home.
From the super quick look i had at it, it looks quite good!

Looks pretty good that. I cant imagine fitting much more than a laptop and really small controller in there though, so perhaps its not ‘one for all’ as they state…
Do you think it would be suitable for a laptop & vci-100 arcade?
Bag also features a section for audio card, so thats covered, and i have the case for the HD-25’s which came with the headphones when i bought them =]
Yeah 79 euros … so £70 which is pretty good for a quality bag.
Not sure about the Silver logo. I prefer the standard Black/white/Red but i guess the Silvery/Black is more classy… no good for me i have no class what-so-ever
So many products and adverts pushing DVS. It’s a huge step backwards and it’s holding back Digital DJing.
The sooner we can drop this vinyl based BS, the quicker we can get on with finding new techniques. It’s a mystery why they keep on ignoring the real technology.
DVS isnt holding anything back. Some people just like the tactile feel of vinyl.
Its hardly a step backwards to use DVS and a couple of X1 controllers.
And come on, you can hardly call Traktor DJs ‘Safe’ or ‘purists’ thats laughable.
Traktor has been pushing things forwarded forever. Unlike the one that begins with ‘S’ until now.
NI are hardly ignoring the real technology or we wouldnt have all the midi control over Traktor that we have.
The VCI is Traktor Ready for heavens sake and so are ‘most’ controllers.
Ni is a software maker that is now making controllers.
The only thing NI havent done is produce an all in one Midi Controller but what do you the next X??? will be. Could just be that.
And id hardly call Maschine stuck in the dark ages of Djing.
I know these are just off the cuff remarks guys but…???
I’ve got a Magma Courier bag which is VERY similar to the UDG courier bag deluxe in both design and size.
I can fit in my vci 100, macbook and cables into the 2 compartments as well as my Novation nio into the front pocket.
I’m pretty sure the Traktor UDG bag should do the same.
Although if you’re looking for something with heaps of padding to protect your vci100 or a vci 300 for that matter, you can’t go wrong with the Magma DJ Controller bag.
A bit too pricey for me though!
70 euros! thats damn cheap… my DVS heart is full of joy
although i own VCI100 as well, not carrying much to gigs these days (my current dj Bag can hold just a DVS)… so i am looking forward to someone to try it out.
hey Karlos, could you -Solid Snake- style sneak into NI’s R&D lab and try it out for us?
LOL… I have a nice solid well designed bag I bought at Target. Its like some executive bag/briefcase thing on rollers. I have been using it for almost 2 years now. Carries both of my X1’s in their cases (before had the 1D in there), my computer, external HD, hub, Audio 8, all my wires, pack of cleaning wipes, my MacBook Pro, business cards, stickers, some pens for customs… and this thing is built to last, and everything is protected in it really well. It has traveled all over the world and has hardly any real wear on it… cost me $50 USD.
