Well It looks like i found a host for my new studio, lets just say it floats. I have always loved living in small spaces on land or water
The boat needs some interior work to accommodate my studio as well as some minor deck work, but should be nice once its done. The boat is going to be completely self sufficient and off the grid using solar panels, l.e.d lighting and a powerless kitchen. In September i shall be moving in
Arduino seeing as i am gonna build an electric engine using an arduino to power the boat that is if am not to lazy to change the existing name āsangareeā
Awesome youāre building your own engine with Arduino but you think you might be too lazy to paint over the name of the boat? To quote a wise Indian sage, āyou magnificent bastard! I salute you!!ā
my studio uses about 400watts of power laptop included
l.e.dās use almost nothing and the engines will take up most of the power. but the engines will only be used to get me out of the marina
damn dude, that impressive!
Where do you poop? hehe
In all actuality iām in the market for a house and saw a pretty cool house boat for sale the other day. I entertained the idea for a bit of being self-sufficient and growing vegetables on the roof. But I must have a basement to make and cask my own beer soā¦
is it just a studio or actual house? I have a friend that is seriously considering living on his sailboat year round and it could work for one person. Im not sure about where you live either but if you have winter comes does it have a heated hull or are you taking everything out?
bedroom bathroom kitchen studio i will be living on a boat go cruising across europe too ibiza FTW
what is gonna happen is i am gonna replace the gas stove with wooden stove, which can also be used as a fireplace in the winter times, but why would i stay in the cold haha like i said i will go all over europe
also i will run everything of solar, so i can get an electric heater if worse comes to worse
haha what ever country i can get into i would probably go to my first stop is ibiza and all neighboring countries/cities i can stay up to 90 days in ibiza/per year āvacationā so as long as i keep vacation status they canāt kick me out
