Newbie- Which Computer?
I’m deciding between an Alienware or Mac .. it seems to me like you get more bang for your buck with Alienware which actually shocked me … Which would you guys rather go with?
I’d go with Mac. I did as it happens and have been very happy with it.

I’m all for bang for your buck but when it comes to my time, I don’t want to waste it. I want the most friendly computing experience possible, so a mac is what’s for me. It’s all preference though
I have no clue but aren’t a lot of the music programs more user friendly on mac?
Pick whatever your little heart desires. Don’t listen to anyone but that voice inside you. Buy PC

People buy macs is they want to have a laptop that just works and looks pretty, and are willing to pay a serious premium for it
People buy PCs to get a better deal, with the side effect that you may have to get under the bonnet to get the most out of your system.
Oh, and USE THE SEARCH BAR- this gets asked like 2-3 times a week minimum.
Here we go… Are you a techie or a musician? If you want (and know how to) have control of your computer, buy a pc… if you want to make music without worrying about your computer, buy a mac.
We have had a gut full of Mac or PC threads just this past few months never mind over the year or years.
