Keep my PC or get a MacBook Pro ??

Hey everyone I am currently using a Sony viao PC laptop I’m running traktor pro 2 with the kontrol S4 and kontrol X1 and akai 80 controllers … Recently been have trouble with TSP 2 and my PC laptop … But ever since I downloaded asio 4 all it’s been running better then it has ever ran ??? Idk what to do ?? Help !!!

dude there have been so many mac vs pc threads just search the forum
you will find your answers.

If your current setup works stick with it,if your not happy switch.

I switched to mac last year and never looked mac
but some people are gonna say stick with windows

at the end of the day all your gonna get out of this thread is a shit storm

Honestly, its just a matter of personal preference really. If you like things to work right out of the box without much thought, go get a mac. If you like getting as much bang for your buck as possible and don’t mind having to tweak your system to get it to run right, go for a pc. Anything made within the last couple years should run tp2 fine, if it is kept well maintained.

I made the switch from an older sony vaio lappy to a MBP and have been very happy.

If your laptop is fine, then why spend $1000+ when you can buy better gear / buy other things? If your laptop starts freezing EVERYDAY when you run traktor, then that is a different story

macs are so blatantly better there’s obviously NO comparison. i can’t believe someone would even consider keeping their windows computer.

theres no way a pc could handle traktor so therefore you must sell your car and buy a mac

I had it crash once but then optimized my laptop just for TSP 2 since then so far so good but however when I about 3 hrs into a set I notice that some of the tracks skip and when I cue up tracks they skip also ???

it’s up to what OS you want in the end, just stick with the one your more comfortable with.

Macs are just better…unless you prefer windows and/or dont like or want to learn to do unix-y things like shell scripting and using Terminal.
