Cheers!
Nice to see someone still using Torq. Big ups yourself.
Peace
SUp bro, its HellNegative. Been a minute. Glad to see you’re still rockin!
hey hellnegative! biggups man
and yes sir WillMD - nothing wrong with it, plays like a champ surprisingly and NEVER crashes or has issues. Just old and outdated, doesnt support midi devices basically (atleast outside of an xsession lol and gross on that when i already have a full setup).
hey there snafu!
@DJ Nikon - Torq supports loads of midi controllers, you just have to map them
I used to use an Xponent & MPD24 along with the TCV & 2 tt’s. I miss that setup, MPD24 controlling snapshots & effects, Xponent for cue’s, loops & other efx, tt’s for mixing.
In fact here’s a mix I did with that setup (although I was only using the Xponent)
It’s a massive shame they discontinued it. I spent many, many, many hours on the torq forums helping people out with various set ups.
I still have 2.0.3 on my old Dell labtop. Still works like it did the day it came out! I do miss all that fun.
I ended up going to Traktor, but I do miss the workflow from Torq. Traktor feels too clinical sometimes
Peace
