no bass (s2 mk2)

Hello guys !

I got a new problem with my Kontrol S2 mk2
When I play a track in any deck, THERE IS NO MORE BASS !
The song play like if there is a low-cut.

But there is a mystery :
When I record the song when I mix : no bass (speakers connected to the S2)
BUT when I play the record on iTunes : bass (speakers connected to the PC)

  • no filter effect
  • no low eq down
  • I precise that yesterday i got bass with my s2
  • When I connect the speakers on the “phone” port, I got bass but on the “MAIN” port no bass

What speakers are you using? Did you try using different audio cables?

sorry for the long time to answer. My speakers are Panasonic SA-PMX5 but it’s not a problem from the speakers beacause I got bass at the beginning, but sudently one day they were out.

Yes I try the connect with the RCA and it work good. I try to connect my headset on MAIN too but the bass still not here.

Do you think it’s a problem from the Kontrol ? or just Traktor ?
