S2 Issues

I have had my S2 for two days now, everything was great, I excused myself to the bathroom and when I returned 5minutes later it all of a sudden no longer plays high frequencies. My left and right speakers no longer function when using the S2 as an audio device, it’s pure bass.

What I have done to fix the issue:

  1. Re-Started Laptop + S2 / Re-Plugged every wire.
  2. Un-Plugged everything for over 10 hours, all power switched off.
  3. Checked all Traktor settings.
  4. Checked all Mac OS settings.
  5. Used my speakers through my iPod, Computer & Phone - Works fine.
  6. Used S2 as an audio device through several other programs (iTunes/Audacity etc) - Same issue. All bass.
  7. Checked all faders/knobs and reset them to default.
  8. Checked all gain levels.

I am at a complete loss, I have troubleshooted everything possible.

Never heard of anything like this, what type of speakers are you using? is the headphone all bass as well? Good luck mate

Headphones work fine, normal sound.
