Novation Launchpad Tutorials And How To’s

Hey all! I have been lurking around on DJTT for quite a while now, and haven’t really posted anything. This forum has been a godsend for me - the tutorials and help given by Ean, and the other members of the forum, have been extremely helpful! :slight_smile: Due to this, I decided to give something back to the community.

I see a lot of posts about people who have purchased a Novation Launchpad and are having difficulties with them. For example, there is always someone asking how to enable LED feedback, which really should have been included in the box as instructions. :confused:

I have created a video detailing various ideas and tips which could be helpful to a Launchpad owner. In this video, I go over how to add LED feedback, change the colours of the buttons, experiment with other MIDI effects, learn how to play a melody live, and also how to use the mysterious User 2 Mode.

I hope this is helpful to you guys, as I know it is very difficult to find videos actually explaining how to do specific things with the Launchpad! If this video goes down well, I make a series about how to do other things with the Launchpad, such as creating mashups like Madeon and M4SONIC :smiley:

Awesome vid, do you have any idea how to achieve blinking lights or change led color of launchpad effectively in traktor? Tried using these values the leds behave odd on a few though

I don’t know if anyone is looking for something like that but I’ve done a bit of mapping and programming in ableton for my live performances, I can send the project file to anyone wants to see it and feedbacks are more than welcome!
