Ok, gonna go with photojojo suggestion and just keep it a solid 4 man, 30 mins each mix.
I’m totally happy to play any order… Anyone want to go first?

You done yet Max? For the others wanting in It looks like there’s enough for two trains. I would suggest starting another thread for that one though. I know from experience that two trains in one thread is to much to keep track of.

I’m on 12 hour shifts for the next few days, then I’ll get on it…
Max, do youi have the mix as a .wav? I don’t want the audio quality to degrade down the line… cheers.
I do have it as a WAV but it’s a big old file… also all the tunes are 320mp3s so they’re at maximum quality anyway.
Do you think it’ll still downgrade?

Yes, every time it’s encoded to .mp3 it loses quality. If we mix down to .mp3 everytime then your bit will effectively have been reencoded 5 times. If it is space we need, then I’ve got all 2 gigs of my dropbox left, which is more than enough for the entire mix.
We never paid much attention to that detail in any of the other mix trains and I think they sound okay. However Lethal is right and they will lose quality each time. I have room as well.

The thing is, I’m not 100% that my bit should be re-encoded 5 times…
So you drag my mix into traktor deck A, record from the last tune and mix your 30 mins and record. Then edit together the two bits in audacity in WAV say.
That way my bit is only getting encoded up once to WAV (which won’t effect it) then back down to 320mp3…
Tell you what though, i’ll upload the WAV anyways and we can do it which ever way you think.
I’ll do it tonight though cause its a 300MB upload as appose to to a 70MB upload. By the end the uplaods will take a couple of hours for a Gig 
No biggy though… lastman (photojojo) can just upload the finished article as 320mp3.
