hey guy’s… just recently brought a numark mixtrack pro with traktor Le and everything is sorta working… Ive installed asio4all just as the Manuel said and yet when in traktor in the audio preferences, i set the audio device to asio4all in in the asio4all option’s i set everything on ( realtek and usb midi device) ( i have a midi piano usb and even unplugged it still remains in the Asio options) and yet still no sound comes out of the back jack’s of the mixtrack or no noise out of the front headphone jack… PLEASE HELP ( RUNNING: windows XP)
yes and they all point to asio… my speakers are called realtek on my computer and there turned on so i am getting sound but the sound is not going through the mixtrack into my headphones
Have you got audio going to the monitor? I mean, do you have the monitor cue for a playing track deck lit up, the monitor volume up and the monitor mix set to 0%?
If it’s not that, it’s probably just the wrong outputs being selected for the monitor. I might be able to help more if you upload a screenshot of the output routing window, also showing the list of all available outputs.
well um i dont have monitors… ive hooked up an RCA cable to the aux of my soundsystem… im not worried about that… its just that i want to get a preview my mix through my headphones from the output of the mixtrack pro
well ( i cant up load a photo) i have tried the speakers as the out put… and also the selections are
reltek 0 to 9 and
usb audio device 0 to 4 ( but this is for my midi piano)
Are you sure that’s your midi keyboard? It has a built in audio card? Cos the device you’re looking for (the mixtrack) only has 4 outs and is probably called usb audio device…
ok, here we go. you have to use AISO4ALL and this should be your setup (check attatchement) you have to put your master outs onto the output 2 on your controller, then it will work perfectly, your hedphones will be monitor and your out will be master. hope that helped. if its not giving you the choices, then change to a different audio device, go back to output settings and change all of them to none, go back and change audio device to aiso 4all then go back to the ourput routing then do what is in the picture.
yes even when i direct sound to the mixtrack in the out put settings nothing comes out. thats the only place where i can find the mixtrack audio prefrences > audio device
So you select it as your audio device, route the audio to its outputs and you get nothing?
Just to make sure you understand, audio device is the soundcard traktor is using. So you need to select the mixtrack in there, then adjust your output routings and make sure you’re in internal mode.
it sounds like the driver never loaded or some part of the installation was skipped. ASIO4ALL is just part of the sound output, but the Mixtrack’s audio source needs to be recognized before it can be routed. if there’s no driver for it, it won’t show up.
