n4 = cheap
ns7 = impractical
NS6 hands down
ns6 is terrible
i was thinking the ns6 but im not sure
Would you mind elaborating a bit?
I think he had one and it broke on him, days after purchase…
Depends utterly on what you want to do with it …
Horses for courses
N4 because i can have another one as back up for the cost of either of the others and more of a traktor layout.
Ns7 cause of the spinning decks ![]()
ns6 being the inbetweener.
I don’t think you can compare the N4 and NS6 to the NS7. The NS7 is designed for a totally different purpose, the NS7 is mainly geared towards hip hop djs (two channel, spinning platters) while the NS6 and N4 are four channel jog wheel controllers.
By far the NS7 is number 1, The motorized tables make all the difference. The other two look like Toys compaired to the NS7. The NS7 is so professional looking it ain’t funny. And you can do just about everything with it. Other then the Weight, NS7FX will last you in the long run…
4trak
Ns7 by far if your used to vinyl. Everything else is a joke if you spin hip hop.
Jaydon35, I’m with you bro, I’m a old skool DJ that used 1200’s and cutting and scraching was and still is the thing to know. NS7 makes that all happen.
If the 4trak can have the same jogwheel response as the ns6 then it will be a winner!
Weird fx add on though seems like kinda forced into it lol
Agreed!! I actually got some cheap tables because i wanted to back to vinyl and the ns7 actually works better than the tables. Kinda ironic. The perfect mix of hardware would be 4 channel controller like the ns6 with rotating platters like the ns7, then make the platters 10 inch. Something like that woul be the death of vinyl. Lol
I kinda like that its on an angle, it should make using the knobs easier to use, but they definately should have made it a part of the body and not just bolt on, but it probably keeps it open to existing ns6 owners
1 = NS7 Well built. Spinning platter.
2 = NS6 Well built, no spinning platter but does have 4 decks control. (I personally own)
3 = N4 cheap version of NS6
Just because you can scratch on the NS7 doesn’t make it a hip-hop DJ only controller. I am an old skool beat mixer and the NS7 is my weapon of choice. It is just like spinning on vinyl without all the hassles of picking up the needle. Everything is right there in front of you and it works like it is supposed to. It is also built like a tank. The only improvement I could see is putting some rotary volume controls on it, but then that is why they make a V7.
I’m not a hip hop DJ or a scratch DJ. I do spin mainly open format even though my passion is Electro and House. Personally I use a Denon DNS3700. Larger platter. Heavy torque similar to the 1200’s. Really good feel.
