Numark V7 questions

Hi everyone :slight_smile:

So a few month ago I decided that I wanted to change my equipment and I thought about getting turnable but it’s too expensive so I thought abour buying a numark V7 to scratch but the problem is that the numark V7 is made for serato and I’m using traktor pro, and I saw on other forum that with traktor pro the platter was not turning :thumbsdown:

So if there is people here who are using a numark V7 with traktor my questions is :
Is there mapping for traktor ?
Is there a way to make the platter turn ?
Should I get traktor scratch with the A6 soundcard (better than traktor pro for scratching ?) ?

You can’t really use it with traktor I’m afraid.

You say you you’re not getting a turntable because it’s expensive- I don’t believe that. You could buy Traktor Scratch A6 and 2 perfectly decent second hand turntables for the price of one V7.
Don’t look for 1210s, they are horribly over priced. Get a Vestax PDX2000/3000, a super OEM, Numark TT500, something like that :slight_smile:
