Who’s gonna apply for a slot on the Reloop Play @ BPM Stage?
And who’s going to play with the toys?
For anyone needing a place to crash…
Premier Inn - near NEC Birmingham International Rail Station Paragon Hotel - near the nightlife Birmingham New Street Station both price up about the same
Organizing meets;
So it runs on the 1st > 3rd Oct (sat > mon). i would recommend using the reloop stage at the entrance as a meet point.
if peeps (nearer the time perhaps) put the day(s) they’re going and times can be set for meeting up
i plan on doing all 3 days (or at least first 2) so will prob run around with some kind of techtool inspired piece of clothing/prop* to make gathering people easier… just to make a spectacle of myself more than anything…
*ooohh… a loaf of bread with glasses on so it can ‘see’…
(wonder how many people will get that?)
How much does the show run? I was looking for a reason to get out of the US for a little and this seems like a great idea… that and a trip to Ibiza… haha.
Really can’t remember what it cost last year… But know it isn’t massively expensive… Something like £20 region…? Went with a mate last year, he bought tickets and I bought petrol, so that sounds about right…
"Tickets for BPM 2011 will be available in advance at a discounted rate of £10 each from the 1st of June. Advanced tickets offer guaranteed admission and are valid for entry on all three days of the event.
Tickets will also be available for purchase on each day at the door priced at £15 each.
Children under the age of 10 will be allowed free entry (but must be accompanied by a paying adult).

Im all over this. Never been before but from what ive heard these sorts of exhibition shows are a great way to bag some discount gear since a lot of exhibitors try to flog their demo gear at the end of the show. (im not sure how true this is for BPM though.)
