One button FX Traktor require double push to launch properly?

Been having this issue where I switch from one button FX to another and either none of the buttons for each FX in group turn on (but knob values still increase properly) or only the 2nd button in group goes on automatically. However if I double push the button everything takes on the second push. So the effect is not entirely launching on initial button push and requires a second push of the button to set in properly to launch. Any idea why this would be?

I guess you mapped more than one command (fx mode, fx select, set specific fx values, d/w and ON) to that button. So your first press of the button will set your fx up and the second press will finally activate it (when the fx is set up properly). Maybe you can accelarate this process by using the “store fx” command in your mapping. This will save your fx preset and loads it while pressing the button.
