[OT] Anyone ever try online dating?
I have never had a hard time meeting girls as I’m really outgoing and not scared of rejection, but I just moved to a small city in Louisiana for work for several months and I haven’t see jack.
Thought maybe joining an online dating site might be a good way to meet some cuties around the area while I’m down here.
Input? Lessons learned?

Haha nope, just a question I had in my head. I’m only going to be down here for another 2 months, but thought it would be worth a shot to meet some girls…
Oh man.. Haha I did and I’ve been with my girl for a year and a half. I did it as a joke with some friends one night and she was cute and there for the same reason so threw my shit back at me. We talked off and on for months after my two week fun on there was over and finally went to get drinks. I still put little to no faith in it but it worked for me.

years ago i met a girl on a site called faceparty (before the days of myspace and facebook) within 22 hours of talking to her,i met her and got down and dirty
that’s about as far as my internet dating experience goes
Much prefer meeting girls out and about and met my current girlfriend at a party
not really one for small talk over the internet.
I would hate to be talking to a girl online for months then meeting up with her and it not working out.Its all about meeting someone in the right environment and getting a feel for what they are about.
