Aside from waiting for my VCI-100 Arcade, I’m also clamoring for a pair of Technics 1200s and a basic mixer… Really feel like VCI-100 Arcade + Technics 1200s = best of both worlds

I am saving up for a MacBook Pro (I have one right now that’s about a few months old but giving that to Mom soon), then i’m going to pick up the midi fighter buttons / chip board thingy and custom create my own case and stuff for it. Possibly create it in full carbon fiber or something

Having a terrible case myself.
Moving to a new flat (Me and my gf currently have a TINY studio), and it’s fucking huge…so i’m getting more and more tempted to drop my RMX and get some TT’s and the new Traktor scratch when it comes out, even been looking for vinyl again.
Problem is my gf has just gone part time, i’m a student…money money money.
I’m a total gear junkie but im totally strapped for cash atm. My laptop died a few months ago and i cant even afford to replace it at the moment, should have my ideal setup within the next few months when work picks up a bit though, looking at getting:
Black macbook (like 2.2ghz dual core, one of the older ones but still decent)
Kontrol x1
Crane stand
Possibly one of the new audio interfaces depending on how good they are and/or whether the new traktor can run on them, if the current soundcards are still supported i’ll probably stick with an audio 4
Good setup for playing out with clubs that have in house cdjs, not too much space needed.
I can’t flippin wait to aquire some new gear when I go back to Australia (where I study). Been on holiday in my home country (Norway) for the past 3 months not being able to get the S4 because I dont want to waste any weight on my luggage for when I go back. Drooling on a MF and midi keyboard as well.

the vcm 600 is insanely expensive unfortunately. I was thinking something $300, maybe $400 TOPS. I was considering the APC40, but i have been told it has more of a live use than production.

I want a new Scratch certified mixer but there aint anything i like out.
Maybe the the Denon X1600 but thats too similar to the Zero 4 that i have.
