@brad, maybe there should be a charge for posting more than 10 polls a month though ![]()
I’ve only made about 10 or so in 2 years ![]()
gotta reply to an email, I’ll so give it a mention in there
Tell you what I’d definitely do, buy a couple of shares in DJTT. It’s only gna grow.
shares is a good idea.
i wouldn’t be opposed to the idea of advertising to generate a bit more cash for djtt either. no harm if there’s audio product ads, or even ads for artist/label releases.
so long as they’re tastefully integrated into the website’s design without it being a pain in the ass.
I seem to remember that the article announcing that the blog was going to be overhauled a while a go said they would be including ads.
I’d be up for a one-off donation, $20 to a good cause never did any harm.
Shares are something I would also be up for looking into, as I agree that the company is only going to grow.
another excuse to dye my hair
shares would be better.. being able to own a percentage of the site.. and itd give your donation an actual worth… meaning you’re not just giving your money away, you are getting something back for it… something like 5 dollars a share…
Count me in.
You just DYING to dye your hair aren’t you!?

Was cute…must admit…chick dug it I am sure…![]()
i think shares is a brilliant idea, $5 a share is quite a bit but definately worth it, the only thing is what sort of initial admin would it need to go public, either way, shares or voluntary donation, im in.
then again for shares… we would need some kind of legal agreement, something that states what the shares are in… would be nice for djtt to grow to a massive worldwide industry developing its own controllers almost like akai… with its own retail stores all over the world… then get bought out by a big company for a couple million so my 5 dollar share turns into like 50,000 dollars
thatd be an ideal investment
but we’d need to find out what our investment would be in first… as a non profit site.. if its just to help run the site it means if it goes bust we get nothing back
just pay some guys wages for a while.
Radical Idea… Lets leave things the way they are and get one with tooling with tech.
I would donate, wouldn’t like the site to be selling shares tho.
if i was to donate i would want it to say tech stifffy not tech mentor ![]()
sounds like a good idea.. techtools just needs to make an official announcement and get a paypal account ![]()
Is anyone else in favour of ads? The standard NI, denon etc ads are unobtrusive, tailored to our interests and would provide a steady long term income rather than a a small burst of donations that dwindles off.
majority of ads are pay per click though, might not be beneficial in long run…
