Output volume changing when moved/shaken/tapped

Output volume changing when moved/shaken/tapped

Recently i noticed that the output volume of my Kontrol S2 changed while playing, when i tapped just right next to the faders, on the right side, (the universal fix for everything, tap on it) i noticed the volume went back up, and when i tapped on the left side the volume went back down, at first i thought i was going crazy, but then i checked the input meters of the amplifier and effectively the volume changed :/// I havent been very careful with my controller, now i used a proper case but have i destroyed it?? Anyone has any experience with it?, I have hardware repair skills so i could just open it and fix it if there is something loose, but before just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced anything similar??? Thanks

You’ll probably need to replace the line fader(s). They break quite easily on the S2/4.

But its weird, the faders arent related to the soundcard, they just send midi signals to traktor, and nothing moves in traktor just when i tap on the controller, so it has to do something with the soundcard. Maybe something got loose while transporting it

I am having the same issues. I believe the ground connection on the rca is cracked. try using 1/4" and see if you get the same issue.
