when djs create their music in music software why they use dj set or controller ?
Yes. It’s because they must to have it.
It’s easier to “play” your chords and work out stuff with a midi keyboard and/or drum pad. But it’s not a necessity.
You can make great music using only a computer.

I saw video on youtube that shows Avicii ,Swedish house mafia … creating their music with fl studio and apple logic . so they are using music software to do that . but I don’t understand why they using dj set ?
they are not using a DJ SET, they are using sounds and programming them to make a song.
You can create a track using software alone, hardware alone, or a mix of hardware and software.
When one of those producers is playing their own tracks live, there’s a performance aspect to it, so even if a song was made entirely in software they have to do something on stage. Or at least pretend to, lol.
@thefallen Music production and mixing (dj set) are two separate things, you are mixing them up.
musicians and producers play instruments… thats all there is to it…
