Pre cueing with the Numark N4 on Traktor?
Hey guys, How do i set up pre cueing with my numark n4 on traktor? i go to output routing, moniter, but no option.
What exactly do you mean by pre cueing? I’m sorry, I want to clarify and then perhaps I can answer your question.
Like have one song playing through my master output(what the audience hears) and have another song playing through my headphones.
Thats what I thought. Are you using the base mapping downloaded from Numark?
No im not. Found one elsewhere that had a few things i liked. however if thats what i need to fix it then i will definitly use it.

Make sure your sound card is selected as N4 in the first option window, also plug the USB in before you load Traktor. Hope this helps
Go to output routing. Go to output monitor. Set it as L- 3:Back Left R- 4:Back Right. That should set your headphones as monitors. Let me know if it works for you.
Its now playin the main song through the speakers but its playing both decks through the headphones. when i go to moniter it says my options are N1-N4. Ive tried all of them. im trying to just play the one deck.
How long have you had the N4? Where did you get the mapping you’re using?

It looks like they kept the basics from Numark so try this. When you change the in-port out-port make sure you change all 3 through the drop down window to n4.
