If I buy a Sounbox Audio Interface (or any random Audio Interface in general), and hook it up to a mixer and 2 turntables, will I NOT be able to use softwares like Traktor Scratch Pro or Serato Scratch live with Timecoded vinyl since the Audio Interface isn’t a Traktor/Serato certified Audio Interface?
What’s a better option for a starter like me? Buy a cheap 2 channel mixer for $40 and an A/I for like $70, or save up for the Traktor Z2? (I only have $170, doubt I’d get $400+ on my birthday)
if you had Traktor pro 2 you can just click on the deck you want to be vinyl (4 decks to choose from momentarily or permanently is your choice) click the deck to “live input” or if you have an older version w/ an external mixer just hit the line or phono switch to make the switch… feel me?
