i’m heavily leaning towards adding an s4 to my setup since it has pretty much everything i’m looking for, but i do have a question:
how well do the tempo faders work? i’ve read some conflicting information with some saying they work very accurately letting you adjust the tempo at .01% if you set the range low enough. others say that they are too short and not very accurate. does anyone have any experience with this?
there are some tracks that i just cannot get on the grid properly so i would like the option to be able to manually beatmatch when needed.
@6-8% more like 0.1% than 0.01%, same as most digital turntables and cd decks. And YES you can beat match very tight with that range. Check out my S2 mapping for fine adjusting a tempo by 0.01 bpm. It doesn’t get more accurate than that. http://maps.djtechtools.com/mappings/53
Was thinking about giving Beaubrytes mapping a try. Mangrease you seem to like it? Wish i was better at mapping. All I really want is Jog effects and to switch my gain knob to filter without it controlling both(thats as far as i can get with it), then im gonna use my mikro for cue points 1-8 under group A and group be ive already assigned effects to pads, Love being able to trigger the effects with pads. cant beleive they didnt put a filter on the s2 unless i wanna use up 2 effect slots, kinda ticks me off. Also why didnt they make the eq knobs the clickable kind like the gain is? would be perfect for eq kills. Cant have it all i guess. Will check out BB’s mapping for sure tho , good looking out.
dOES ANYONE KNOW OF A GOOD MASCHINE MIKRO MAPPING AS WELL?
