Question Regarding XDJ-R1 Speaker Output Problem (With Kick Drums)

Hi,

I just recently got the XDJ-R1 to mess around with at home. I connected it to my external sound card, and my two KRK Rokit 5’s are also connected to the sound card. The sound output is fine, however I’m having a strange problem where the kick drums will not play in ANY song. I tried mixing in headphones, and I can hear the kick drums just fine.

I’m not quite sure what the issue is. Have any of you heard of it? I’m connecting the setup with a shielded Audio Y Cable (1/4" stereo male to dual RCA male).

Turns out it’s hardware failure, according to the customer service rep. I didn’t have a great customer service experience from Pioneer, so I’m returning it. I’ll look to another company for a controller.
