Really specific thread. Need help with lights

NOT GOING TO BE USING DMX FOR NOW OR SELLING LIGHTS I CURRENTLY HAVE!!!

Ok,
So my range for my last light is standing at 300-600$. It could be either a laser or color light. So far I have-
3 color lights:
American Dj Mystic
Chauvet Kinta X
American Dj Vertigo TRILed
1 Laser:
American DJ Micro Galaxian
1 BabyStrobe (not looking for strobes)

Crowds typically 100-300 depending on event (they are kids so they like sick color and lasers mainly)

Scanners look too basic for me.
Thats basically it. I need some help one one more light! Anyone give me some good ideas please!!!

why not look trough the American Dj and Chauvet product ranges and check out there youtube videos and buy what you like the look off ?

just spend some time browsing the videos/reviews etc and bookmark the ones you like, then narrow it down to what you’ll get either now or in the futre… simples :slight_smile:

You should look into selling your lights and putting together something different. Nothing looks as cheap as a bunch of random lights on a pole.

At least get your lights in pairs. Something like a pair of Colorstrip Mini’s, a pair of Vue 6’s (or similar), and a Shinp DL-55 4-tunnel laser should give you plenty of light, color, and your desired laser, all for under $700 brand new. Cheaper if you can find it used.

Oh and as far as scanners go, they can look fantastic as long as you have at least 4 of them, alone with a fog machine - but I wouldn’t consider anything under $500 a piece and without DMX control. The built in programs are generally poor.

You’re also lacking wash lighting. Chauvet 4Bar’s are great for this, very bright, and quite cheap.
