Recording mix on traktor with audio 6

Hi, my setup is Allen+Heath xone 42 mixer, audio 6 interface, x1 controller and traktor. I’m wondering how I record a mix. Do I need to plug a cable from my audio 6 to my mixer? I know I have to fiddle about with settings in traktor but when I’m doing it 2 songs are coming out of one channel at the same time. Many thanks fellow djs!

Hi mate, run a cable from a booth out or rec out from your mixer into an input on the audio 6 (for me its the front input), and in the mix recorder option in the traktor settings, set that to external and choose a free channel (i use fx send so i have all channels available)
