rekordbox updates
just downloaded the new update for rekordbox and it looks like it is gonna reinstall the program for new.. Just wondering will it re add all of my tracks in the order ive tagged them / genred them all etc..
Basically spent a hell of a long time organising it, wondering if its safe to update.. also is it possible to backup this collection?

Only backup I do is with time machine.
nice one cheers, gonna have to get a bigger external hard drive speaking of them, for this and all the expensive programmes that could be lost if anything happened..
IT pro here. If you dont have a solid backup system in place this minute, then youve already lost your library, its just a matter of time.
Your hard drive can fail instantly at any moment, regardless of how old or what brand/model.
1 is none.
2 is a joke.
3 is one.
It’s expensive but worth it.
