May I ask, what is your solution for that (or a link? )
AMAZING TOOL this is exactly what traktor was missing
A huge thanks from the community
Will donate ![]()
Special thanks and bugs and suggestions:
Awesome tool. Thanks for the work and enthusiasm you put into it. I love it!
‘Learn’ MIDI notes sometimes causes CTD. I can avoid it by using it within an almost empty device.
a) Two seperate columns for the two conditions would be a cool thing. I like to be able to sort by condition 1 as well as by condition 2.
b) It would be awesome to be able to mark different commands, including MIDI In/Out assignments, and then change their MIDI channel, for all of them, without changing their actual MIDI-Note.
Anyway, it’s an awesome tool already and a great help in mapping.
Thanks. Waiting for donations ![]()
Already fixed for v0.9. Will be released in the next few days.
Already implemented for v0.9.
I rather plan to somehow abstract the condition handling by combining both conditions into tuples which can be named. This will make it easier to keep track of the conditions (“What does M1=0 mean again?”) and will also abstract their order as it doesn’t matter. What do you all think about that?
X-Mas in July. ![]()
I am happy to test the tuple naming. I hope you enjoy working on this tool as much as i do using it… ![]()
New version v0.9

I’m excited. This will be battle tested… ![]()
Before i write anything else. This tool is already so much better than the editor by NI.
On to the bug list:
Both have only been tested on a factory map for an s4mk1.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ve added your issues here. This way I can work on them from inside of Visual Studio.
It’s all about circumventing NI bugs…
!
Update: I have already fixed the latter, but I cannot confirm the first issue. Can you send me your affected s4mk1 mapping?
Hey TakTraum,
This one is kinda wild but If I click on the folder icon (see pic) cmdr starts to open up new windows to the eternity ![]()
Can you please try to reproduce this?
I tried with every folder/file open dialog in cmdr, but I cannot reproduce this. Sorry ![]()
Hi Tak, here is the S4 factory map.
Clear examples:
Lines 3204-3215 (set and delete hotcue) are overrides.
Lines 3244-3263 (map hotcue, excluding sample buttons) are not, as the buttons used [shift and hotcue buttons] must retain their factory functions.
S4.zip (98.3 KB)
And this is what i see in the file you mentioned as well, no check in the box, although it should be visible:
Never mind it then. It’s not a huge deal really - I’ll just have to use extra attention.
Thanks for looking in to this.
Bug:
The Control Assignments and Values for ‘Deck Size Selector’ are not accurately loaded and stored.
Assignment ‘C&D’ gets loaded and stored as ‘A&B’. Direct Values for the Deck Size also seem to get shuffled and have strange values like ‘4’ instead of ‘Micro’ or ‘Advanced’. The Value ‘Mhz’ seems to be an NI bug though… ![]()
Here is what it looks like when loading up. The NI Editor Values are in the comments.
ISO a bitcoin flashcode for the donation as I refuse to use paypal
I’ve been using cmdr lately and i love it!
Objective is to create a new version of the Akai AMX mapping made by stewe

thanks TakTraum
Thanks for your bug report. Both issues are fixed in code and will be included in the next release.
do you offer a preview release after 0.9.0? I’m also bitten by the A&B / C&D / micro/ advanced / etc issues
Thanks
Damn, this baby is still working with traktor 2.11 (except I get “uknknown command” for the step sequencer commands) as I was able to use it for mapping the new step sequencer with maschine.
great work man
