Reloop platter on Technics 1200mk2
Howdy guys and happy new year!
Long shot here…
I have come across a few old 1200mk2’s. Currently restoring them, 2 to keep and 2 to sell.
The worst bit on all 4 are the platters, beyond restoring due to bad oxidation. Magnets are fine.
I have purchased two OEM for the ones for sale but I just can’t justify the cost for another two for mine that I will play around with.
Does anyone know if I can transfer the magnets on to a Reloop platter as they are basically clones? - TURNTABLE / Reloop DJ - RP-6000 MK6 - Reloop RP Series Spare Parts - ams-218063
Not sure if anyone has tried this.
