Remapping some of Ean’s VCI-100SE patch for midi keyboard problems!

Since I cant really afford a VCI-100SE at the moment, the plan is to go with t scratch pro, using external CDJs and a mixer like i normally mix plus a midi keboard thats got some of Ean’s patch remapped to it plus some of my own additions, the midi keyboard is a edirol pcr-30

so

  • new problem - Ean Golden’s ‘Freeze Trick’ or rather, why wont the superknob work? see
    this thread

is there a way to edit the mapping file say as a text file? rather than having to do it through that tiny little window in traktor

  • multiple pushes of a button to engage/disengage an effect problem solved, with the following mapping,
    set :
    Loop Active to Hold
    Loop Size to Hold (and in my case value - 4)
    Loop Set to Trigger
    all are assigned to deck focus,
    [with a shout to Discob81 for actually making it work]

  • fx routing problem solved, see below

all suggestions and thoughts appreciated!

regarding the loop mapping, try to assign to button the ‘‘hold’’ function insted of ‘‘toggle’’ , for some weird reason it might work..
just my 2 cents

ok have found a fx solution, which ill post the mapping for here at some point if anyones interested, using, 4 knobs (d/w, fx 1 amount, fx 2, fx 3) 3 buttons (fx on/off) to control both effects units, two keys for deck A/B select, and a shift that turns the fx knobs into fx selects (like on the VCI-100SE) .
