Remove the “Scratch” from Traktor Pro?
Hello guys, im just wondering .. I’m running Traktor Scracth Pro 2, but i only want the Traktor Pro 2? Ive went through the setup wizard but still no luck .. im using the S4!

You can turn the panels off in preferences. What else do you want to remove?
I just want it to be 100% with my S4

The cracked version is ‘scratch’ so if you don’t have turntables or cdjs then people are gonna know you’ve pirated it.
If any S4 owners are using a pirate version, you know you are entitled to a free upgrade…

I used to roll with tt’s but now im getting in to ONLY digital DJ;ing.

Anyway, why would you want to remove the Scratch? It’s only about the name?
The reason I got the Scratch version is because I like to use the timecode every once in a while but I mainly use MIDI only.
Also, why does it bother you so much? It basically states that you got the best package available.

Que? “Used to” as in last month? The Scratch upgrade for the S4 has only been available since April 1st. So you paid the $130 (or whatever) for the upgrade and are over it already? Strange?
This thread doesn’t make any sense. Traktor Scratch Pro 2 will respond to the S4 just like Traktor Pro 2 does with the added ability for time code. It will always refer to itself as Scratch because that is the version of the software. There isn’t a setting you can change to magically make this disappear.
As said above S4 owners get free updates to TP2. Check your junk folder.
If he owns a previous scratch license, he is entitled to a free TSP2 upgrade. You are not considering the possibility he might own an Audio 8/4.
Besides, owning the S4 and torrenting T2 is just retarded.
Click on a deck letter to show the different deck types and switch to internal or whatever it’s called.
I assumed he didn’t since it seems like he’s not really sure what he has. Either way know that you have a version of Traktor that many people including me paid extra for and it’s nice incase you ever feel the need to get fiki fiki ff f freshhhh!

. Traktor Scratch Pro is Traktor Pro (the S4 bundled one) + the license for timecode control which costs extra. You probably have it as you owned a Traktor Scratch * 1, licensed to you, prior of getting the S4. NI are giving free TSP2 upgrade for all S4 & TS*1 owners
I’ve had a TS Duo & S4 and I got TSP2 license. I’m mostly using the S4 on it’s own, but I just like to have the extra ability to time code control it with TTs or CDJs on occasion for fun & pleasure. As pointed above, the interface gives you the ability to hide the scratch panels from the deck view options.
