S2 split midi / traktor mode

Can anyone tell me if it would be possible to use some of the knobs on the S2 in midi mode and some in the default traktor HID mode?

I want to have instant-on effects with the turn of a knob, but this is not possible in the default HID mode. I would have to always double-press shift to switch to this possibility, and that’s not something I’d like to do in the middle of a complex mix.

I’s only a guess but each mode is exclusive of the other mode if it’s like the s4.
One or the other.
