S4 being used at WMC!!

Just got back from the Shelborne pool party, the Shelborne has some of the biggest WMC events, this years close out party is there on Sunday. Today they had the “Body and Soul” party going on. With:

Francois K, Jaoquin “Joe” Claussell,Danny Krivit

They played a very soulful/tribal set. It was ok - just not my thing. We were going to the Surfcomber to see Boris, Chus+Ceballos, but it was sold out. Either way, these guys were using the S4 heavily. Seems like one DJ always had a track playing thru the S4 (you can see the sound card was being used too) and he was beatmatching each new track - no sync, then the guy who was playing the “hit song” was on the CDJ and some home made rotary mixer with either EQ’s or Filters. It was cool, but annoying. Either way
the S4 was used all set from what I could see. Kinda debunks alot of
what is posted that the soundcard sucks or that the jogs are too sensitive to beatmatch with.
