S4 version for traktor.
This may be a dumb question, but i was just wondering if you NEED to install the s4 version of traktor pro 2 or if you can run it with the original version? are there any substantial benefits to using the s4 version?

Back in the day, before Traktor 2 comes up, Traktor S4 and Traktor Pro where different, but now it’s simply called Traktor (Scratch) Pro 2. Noth are the same (assuming you just bought your S4, and brand new)
If you still use Traktor 1.x.x it will not work at all unless you manually midi map everything.
if you have a Tpro2 serial number just install the demo and activate with it.
no need to install the TproS4. it was like a previous version of Tpro2 and is discontinued since Tpro2 came out..
