I ‘think’ that the knobs and faders from DJTT do come from dj faces if I’m not mistaken.
Yes, I bought mine for the Xone dx and use the ones they were selling for the Xone products, as I’m not using the DX I just tried them on the S4, the black insert has just to be positioned correctly. They are loose but nothing you cant’ fix with some paper put inside the hole so they hold correctly.
They’re listed as coming from DJ’s face in the web store.
I went to my local Dj store today and tested a bunch of knobs on the S4, a few fit nicely but all of them had the same problem - the White line marker on the knob didn’t line up correctly on the S4! Gutted 
You should be able to swap the inside out to make the knob line up correctly.
Did the knobs have a removeable insert? The DJTT/DJ’sFace knobs do, so you can point them in the right direction.
Ah! Removable insert! Right, now I’m on it. I didn’t check to look for that. Thanks guys, I hope my djm800 knobs have a removable insert. I’ll swap them over if possible.
Just had a look at my djm 800 knobs, the inside of them looks like it may come out, but not very easily. Just wondering if you guys had any tips on removable

I also took 4 knobs off my Access virus Ti Polar synth and they fit perfectly, i put them in place of the filter knobs, not sure if i’ll keep it like that, but they sure do easily show me my filter knobs (rubber feel to them too like the S4 knobs) -

But once you sit them on the S4, there’s a big gap between the knob, and the S4 top plate.

That looks good. The rubber feel is why I’ve stuck with my S4 knobs, may have to try those out.
I like the S4 knobs…I have a set of rane knobs here that fit fine but they are smaller then the stock knobs.
Thanks photojojo. I like it with the grey knobs for my filters as it easily distinguishes the filters instead of everything being black.
On the Rean knobs website, they have some great knobs, but i need to be sure of the correct size for the S4 (6mm D shape right?) and if they have removable inserts, so that if the line marker doesnt match up then i can change it to make it line up.
Just been looking on their site, they actually show the knobs as N,S,E,W i.e according to the ‘D’ placement. The S4 knobs are ‘south’.

Well, i still can’t find knobs with a nice bright white line marker (like the djm 800 ones) that will fit the S4.

Would be nice if - now that there are the “perfect” knobs out - people who changed their knobs and faders could post some pics of their S4s..

Nice blue ones.. Are the faders more rubbery than the S4s? Like the default knobs on the S4?
Really interested in seeing the white DJTT knobs and faders.. Afraid that they come in some ugly grey instead of clean nice white..

Replacing everything apart from the gain and loop encoders with Chalk White knobs and faders. Even replacing the pitch faders.
Will make it so much easier in the dark booth i work in.
