bump..
I dont use TSP, but dont you just change the input settings so that your deck input is going to the sample deck you want to use?
I don’t understand the question
So why did you post?
yes, rec.
probably in effort to get the original poster to respond with an explanation that would be a little more clear to him. Actually seems kind of obvious.
I doubt it..
I think what you are asking for is in the midi mapping page under “sample slots” and its called “sample slot scratch on” ( i dont have it in front of me to be exactly sure) or a similar name.
You will have to define wich sample slot you want to activate scratch on.
Yes, this is exactly what I mean, but when i activate the scratch on a sample slot, I can’t scratch it! Do I have to change my inputs for deck C and D to the same inputs as deck A and B? (timecode inputs)
This i dont know, maybe the scratch function for sample decks/slots is only intended for jogwheels, if not yeah try to put the timecode input to be the same as a/b, maybe also you will need to go from decks a/b scratch control to “normal” mode so that the timecode is available to use for sample slots.
If this is the case then the simplest way to achieve a fast switching is to map a “multi” button, one press (toggle) will :
And on the repress (toggle), deactivate sample slot scratch, maybe pause sample slot, turn deckA to scratch control back on in relative mode.
Following this idea you could map one button to :
If you do this without having deck A pause, but still volume to 0, and on the repress volume to 100, you would have just mapped serato slip mode with scratch control ![]()
cheers
Tried this over the weekend…and could also not get it right.
I have seen it done…just need to read the manual I guess.
It is for time code so u will have to set the timecode input to deck c or deck d depending on wether u want to scratch c or d but I’m not sure about the relative and other modes.
Hope this helps
