Serato DJ serial

Serato DJ doesn’t have serials. You have to have a Serato-enabled controller, mixer, or sound card plugged-in for the software to switch from analysis mode to DJing mode.
Take a look here for supported controllers, mixers, and interfaces. The piece of gear needs to either say “enabled” or “upgrade ready” for it to work.
Why do they sell the product for 90 dollars then in their store? I want to use SDJ with CDJ2000’s when I go abroad to dj so I can use my Serato library without having to bring my SX. You’re telling me that when I hook up 2 CDJ’s to my laptop I can instantly use Serato DJ without purchasing a license?
No, he’s telling you need to get a SL card if you want to come to a club and hook up 2 cdj2000 to your laptop.
Ah thanks What I don’t get; the CDJ’s work with Traktor als stand alone players. You just hook up through usb and it works. But for CDJ’s you still need an SL in order to get Serato to work properly?
Yes. Its bs we know, but its totally worth it.
Yeah Traktor takes away to much functionality from the CDJ’s to me. Maybe I’ll try Rekordbox as that keeps all the functions on the CDJ intact. Thanks for the help and I’m glad I didn’t purchase a Serato license
