serato dj vs dj intro VCI 400 sound issues
I have following problem which i guess is common to every owner of vci 400 - when i play on dj intro - latency(even the lowest works best) is superb and tracks sound great quality-wise - music is crisp/pumping and so on. When i switch to Serato DJ (no matter which FIRMWARE, and what latency - actually best behaves the original firmware) i always have a clicking/cracking sound… Actually its the same with traktor (which is my first line of choice… but). What can i do to remove the annoying additional clicking sound. I have a moderate laptop - dual dual core, 4 gigs of ram decent hdd. Been dj with it for some time (mixtrack and an IO sound interface worked great almost make me regret buying the otherwise tank-built controller). I am playng on the weekend AND AM REALLY PISSED OFF. Is there any way around it? For now i decided to play on Dj Intro with the standlone mixer firmware - which i guess will work so that i can hook up a friend to my system…
