Seting up Akai LPD8

Just got my LPD8, and I have a few questions.
I don’t quite understand four buttons on the left side… Program is simple, but what exactly are program change, cc and pad???
An example of their use would be nice.
Also, is there a way to set up in traktor for LED to be turned on and off, for example turning fx on and off?

You can use pad and CC but not program change in traktor. The lpd8 doesn’t respond to MIDI out messages as you might expect. Hence, getting the leds to behave correctly requires some tweaking.

So, pad and CC are like two sets of controls for each program?
Is it same for Prog Chng???
