simple headphone question

simple headphone question

Hey guys,
I just have a small simple question, and I know it’s kinda lame, but here goes :slight_smile:
Haven’t been DJing for a while, and last time I did it was on Traktor 1. I’m using a Hercules RMX, and as I remember, all I had to do to get all sound working was connecting my speakers to the rmx, choosing the rmx as sound device in traktor, and setting the Master Output to L: output 1 and R: output 2 (where I connected my speakers), and then everything was working great.

When I do exactly this now in Traktor 2, i get sounds, faders etc working, but I just CAN’T get my headphones/monitor cue working! My headphones are just connected to the RMX and volume of headphones are turned up - but absolutely no sound. What am I doing wrong?

check the software monitor volume in the cross fader section. Also double check your routing in preferences

Guessing you checked the monitor volume and master / cue IN Traktor ?

sorry to rant but USE THE SEARCH i swear i have seen this topic pop up so many times in the past 2 weeks alone
