Hello Socal DJTT!
illegalPARTY will be spinning the opening set @ The Loft at Avalon!
We have learned so much from this community and we just wanted to say how much we appreciate everyone here from the moderators to the new guys! All DJTT members will receive entry via DISCOUNT GUESTLIST and we will also choose 5 guests at random to be comped for a free drink and free entry to the club.
The Loft @ Avalon is a small side room that usually invites out local talent to come out and just spin what they love. We did this gig a few times, but now we’re moving up to Bardot (previously used to be The Spider Club?) and taking draw from bar sales. The great thing is our following has grown and it’s an awesome way for us to get friends in the club for discounted rates…so far we’ve had a great time and we can’t thank DJTT enough for giving us a lot insight on how to get booked and keep booking gigs…
So now it’s my time to offer the DJTT community something cool…

There’s no pay for The Loft @ Avalon but it’s a great way to get your name out there and open up some opportunities within Avalon or other venues (we’re spinning Exchange LA soon with the other DJs that are part of this collective) so this is a great chance for anyone looking to get their feet wet and finally take their sets from the bedroom to the club…
We’re getting moved to the bigger room so we like to keep feeding The Loft @ Avalon with new local talent. Plus…what better way that to offer it to the community that has taught me so much.
It’s funny…my DJ partner (other half of illegalPARTY) taught me everything about Pioneer CDJs. To be honest, I haven’t seen many guys outside of the DJ Sounds show that can manipulate CDJs like him. However, he was blown away and now embraces the potential of what digital DJing brings to the table…
I now run Ableton clip launching and crazy effects chains alongside his CDJ setup…which wouldn’t have been possible if MadZach didn’t make that nice video for all of us!
Send them over when you can…it’s not a rush or anything. I’ll check them out together with the other DJs and promoters that run the Saturday nights. I’ll get back to you guys by message if chosen to spin a set.
