DJTT meetup in LA area??
Has anyone ever (or does anyone want to in future) want to get together and share secrets, perform for each other, teach each other? or just hang?
This is not the desperate call of a loner for friends lol… I just went to a meetup.com meeting about my profession (photography) and I thought a DJTT themed meetup would be cool.
Maybe one of you could fix my midifighter lol.

U know us LA DJTTer’s could even start our own night at one of the local clubs like spaceland or whatever. a whole night dedicated to Digtal DJing.
i usually go to little cave in highland park and hang out with jesc on sundays.
3 day weekend this weekend so it should be pretty good.

Count me in! And I happen to be spinning this sunday at the Troubadour if anyone in the area wants to come check it out … flyer below. Music will be all over the place, several different style bands, and I’m playing in between and for the fashion show, so expect some eclectic mixes and performances. I will be sporting the midifighter and perhaps some other surprises

Just hopefully before the 22nd of this month since that’s when school starts for me full time again. I’d love to meet up, hangout and learn from all of you!
Edit: Forgot to mention i’m in Orange County, so finding a location would be preferable if it were in or closer to O.C. but I understand we have to find something that works for everyone .

Hell yeah! I’m new to DJTT and to LA as well (Moved from Atlanta). So this would be great!

its a little dive bar, jesc usually plays 80’s and indie electro shit
a lot of the morrissey crowd hangs there. not my scene but cool people and 5 dollar jagerbombs all night.
I leave monday. Hopefully before then.
I dig the 80’s not really into the whole Morrisey thing but I dig The Smiths. I’m more into the two tone ska and post-punk hardcore when it comes to the 80’s. And I love the electrofunk stuff from back then. I mostly spin Breaks/DNB/Dubstep myself, but I love all music across the whole pantheon of genres. If its good and makes me want to dance then I like it.
Will definitely check out the cave some sunday; not this one of course since I’ll be at the Troub… if any techtoolers roll through be sure to say hi!
