Something you all might appreciate
A friend of mine in Japan has been working on these touch screen panels. Originally as a medium to order drinks, food or whatever and little simple games for installation in bars and clubs. However as you can see from this video he incorporated some other functionalities in it. Think you might all appreciate this.

The technology was developed by Pablo Martin, an Argentinean-based DJ with a passion for technology and the CTO of Smithson Martin Inc. He partnered with Alan Smithson, a DJ in Toronto, to create fully functional multi-touch Emulator packages.

I got a chance to play with one of these emulators in Vegas…it’s…kool?. Its not amazing, but it is totally for aesthetics. I think it is still a LONG way from being user friendly and more common. As a mobile DJ, it is totally a trend setting object that is all for show! Tell me that wouldnt impress ppl at your wedding.

I am sorry for posting regurgitated stuff. He just literally came out with this video like 12 hours before. This is a normal guy making these and is very talented at it. Just trying to share what I know, I am sorry if I offended you in any way, and if you have noticed that was like my second post ever here, I don’t live on my computer and check message boards 21 hours a day. Kind of getting turned off from this. Thought this was a different kind of forward thinking and innovative community who would appreciate this.

Since you’re not a regular poster and may not know all the intricacies of how a forum works let me point out the search function in the tittle bar above. A search for video touch screen would have shown that this as been posted several times, maybe not the exact same video, but the same controller. Had you seen that you would have realized we had grown tired of seeing it posted.
Now please don’t be discouraged we really are a nice bunch so do stick around.
