Sound Bwoy's Setup

Sound Bwoy’s Setup

I’ve had this setup for about a year now. I’m new and not very good at all but I’m learning every time I turn the gear on. My setup is located in my unfinished basement. I created an L-shaped booth out of plywood and it works great for now. I made it extra long to accomodate my friends’ gear when they stop by to jam. I have plans to finish the basement in about a year from now if the funds work out.

I like to DJ and make beatstrumentals. Here’s the link to my soundcloud page -

Nice setup mate, and really nice table

what a great space. i want a basement like that !

Awesome, do want that desk.

Thanks for the compliments, all.

@ fullenglishpint. You can build one too - it was pretty easy. It’s all 2"x4"s and 3/4" thick ply wood sheets. I’ll post some pics of it being built.

Ah but I’d need the space for it too :disappointed: I’m happy with my Ikea desk for now. It’ll be much better when I have it facing into the room and I’m not playing to the wall.

Sounds good! I was looking to build something just like that in my basement

As promised, here are some pics showing the development of the booth. It’s a quick and dirty setup to go with the unfinished basement.

The front of the booth has a 12" Christmas LED rope light tucked under the lip. The lights under the shelf (facing the equipment) are DIODER strip lights from IKEA (Shop Quality & Affordable Products - IKEA CA)

The last pic you will see BJARNUM folding hooks for IKEA to hold headphones (Shop Quality & Affordable Products - IKEA CA)

I know right! this would be an awesome setup for a couple of dj boys that want to host party’s in their basement.

Dat booth.
