Sticky posts - Opinions ?
Alright so i got this “one sticky to rule them all” up for a trial peroid - this way the top of the general forum isnt so messy with so many stickies.
Id like to hear your guys opinion on this 
hmm might break it up into groups so similar blog posts / forum posts are grouped together as opposed to having two grounds, one of blog posts one of forum posts.
Instead there will be like a traktor section
a general knowledge section
and so on
Opinions are very much welcomed on this
Liked the sticky “show your setup” … maybe intro yourself too?
If those aren’t sticking (oooh) out, noobs might miss them?
Show your setup should defo stay as a sticky!

I think once we hit a certain point of size and sticky’s we should have an “Important Thread” forum where we put all of these.

Its not 100% complete yet (not that i think it will ever be as its a constant work in progress) but i think it makes a good start

Maybe since this forum is pretty small and it’s expanding (member-wise) maybe an expansion of forums would be in order. For example: general discussion is becoming too cluttered? well take the most popular threads/topics and make them forums in and of themselves. Like have a welcome/introduction forum. Have a Helps section. This would help to break the insanity that is this broad general discussion forum…

yea thats a good idea, another forum dedicated to new people wit all the info they need?
Theres 2 camps in the forum - those who think that there should be lots of different forums, and those that think there should be as few as possible.
Its a really delicate balance of trying to please both parties.
That said… we are constantly reviewing the forums to see how we can make improvments and let it grow as the community grows. So it might be time to talk with Ean and review the outlook of the different forums again seeings how the general forum is getting so busy.
Ill talk this over with Ean next time im on the phone to him and get back to you’s guys if we come up with anything.

The sad truth of the matter is i haven’t had enough $ do much of anything in the last few months due the fact that the economy crashed which made the industry i worked in basically fall in a big heap.
That tied in with getting a huge double whammy of being ripped off by 2 clients to the tune of around $50,000 AUD in a short period with of time has totally put me on my ass. The cost of actually chasing this money would cost me about the same if not more (Ive seen a lawyer about this) and in the end i wouldn’t couldn’t be sure i would see any of it.
On top of that lawyers want to be paid along the way so i could potentially end up losing a total of about $100k, $50k of which would be spent on lawyers who want to be payed along the way with money i just plain do not have to spend - so basically I’ve written off ever seeing that cash. This tied in with the economy crash killed the business and put me out of a job.
At the moment i have a petty $25 australian to my name and the only thing that has stopped me from totally losing it mentally has been contributing what i can to the controllerism scene.
More information than you were asked for but that’s how it is at the moment and the reason for my absurd post count - i really needed to get that off my chest heh
