Stupid tracktor pro upgrade question

Hi guys,

sorry for the stupid question.

Basically I’ve have a personal mapping set up on traktor pro version 1 which took me ages to get right.

If i upgrade to pro 2 what happens ?

do i lose all my setting and mappings and have to remap ?

or does it understand the tsi is from an older version of traktor ?

if it does can i use my old tsi mapping together with new tsi mappings for another/new controller ?

Hi,

No, you wont lose existing mappings but in any case you can make a copy and place it out of NI settings folder.

Yes, your mapping will be outdated since many commands become changed, removed or renamed since Traktor evolute from one version to other. You will need to update it to new version.
