Suggestions on a nice 3 channel mixer>>

Shopping for a new mixer. Would really like the following features.

Rack mount
3 channels
Crossfader reverse /hamster switch

I’ve only owned 2 channel mixers in the past. Want the 3rd channel for the remix decks. I run TSP2/A6 so I don’t need a built in soundcard. I like to keep my 1200’s in the case, that’s why I want rackmount.

Was looking at the Rane Empath, but it looks like it doesn’t have a reverse crossfader?

Any suggestions are appreciated. Would like to stay under $800 but that’s not set in stone.

Thanks
Jeff

Empath is an awsome mixer. As you said though no reverse x fader. I wish I never sold mine :disappointed:

Ecler Nuo 3.0 if you want 3 full channels.
Ecler Nuo 2.0 for 2 full channels + a mini channel for the remix decks (volume knob, gain and 2 band EQ without full kill)

I like the size of the 2.0 & the area around the fader is clear of clutter. Also has rackmount options & the price is nice.

I shouldn’t have a issue routing the F1 to the 3rd channel?

Thanks Popinjay!

I’ve seen several go for under $400 on ebay recently. Saw one end yesterday under $350 shipped with a case.

cant you just open the mixer and flip the fader up side down? I always open up my 57 when i clean it and it doesnt seem like a tough thing to do.

I need to be able to turn it off & on. I only use reverse when scratching/transforming

Nuo 3.0 seriously. Love mine and it has everything you wanted …

I’m in no huge hurry, but it looks like the Ecler is it.

Anyone know if I will have a problem routing the remix deck to the 3rd smaller channel on the Ecler 2.0. If not I’m going to pull the trigger. I like the size & will make my tables even closer together than they are now.If it will be a problem I’ll pick up the 3.0

Thanks
Jeff

+1 on the nuo 3.0. I own one myself and have never even thought of upgrading.

You could route a 3rd channel to the mic channel on the 2.0. The EQ is only 2 band though if you can live with that.

Not really sure what problems you would encounter, what were you thinking of?
